Little Acorns Theatre Academy run a range of classes for pupils from Nursery to Year 6 providing accessible Breakfast, Lunchtime and After-School courses on school premises. Classes can be run on a variety of days, are separated according to age and can run for a duration agreed with individual schools.
Lunchtime or Breakfast Clubs sessions runs for 30 minutes in small groups ensuring children are given individual focus to aid their progress. After-School sessions run for 60 minutes. Sessions are generally run in the school hall but all classes can take place in a classroom, if preferred, but we would take these classes in smaller groups.
All classes are designed to provide a supportive, creative and stimulating environment for children of all abilities. Our classes can be tailored to meet children’s individual requirements and can be a mix of any the performing arts disciplines.
Classes are taught by Lauren Shannon a Professional Actress who trained at Mountview Theatre Academy and currently performs teaches and choreographs professionally in the industry, and Laura Mott who has also trained in performing arts and currently performs professionally whilst providing coaching in singing, acting and speech therapy.
Little Acorns generally run a one-off trial class during school time which we can work into a suitable time in your timetable. This gives children a taster session to see if they would like to attend the full course of lessons. An information leaflet is then given to parents with a reply slip and places are awarded on a first come first served basis. Remaining children are placed on a waiting list and contacted when a space becomes available.
Little Acorns individually invoice parents directly so there is no extra admin for the School and all teachers are Experienced, qualified and CRB checked.
Little Acorns holds Public Liability Insurance.
