Chris Lofthouse
Chris Lofthouse has a rich and diverse background in the performing arts, having attended the prestigious Corona Academy of Dramatic Arts. There, he honed his skills in drama, dance, fencing, and stunt work while appearing in numerous commercials and films, including *Scrooge* (with Albert Finney), *Cromwell* (with Richard Harris), and *Villain* (with Richard Burton) starting from the age of 11. At just 13, he landed his first major role in the MGM film *No Blade of Grass*, portraying Spooks alongside a talented cast, including Nigel Davenport, Wendy Richard, and Lynn Frederick. His time at Corona also allowed him to connect with future stars like Nicholas Lyndhurst (famous for *Only Fools and Horses*), Ray Winstone, Lisa Vanderpump, and Tina Charles. Chris's successful television career flourished with notable appearances in "Thirty-Minute Theatre" (BBC), "Long Voyage Out of War" (BBC), "Bachelor Father" (BBC), "You and the World" (ITV), and in two seasons as Eric in the popular "Kim and Co" (BBC). At 19, Chris took a bold step, shifting his focus to his true passion for music. As a professional musician, he performed with various bands and recorded as a session guitarist on an array of records, showcasing his versatility and talent. In his 40s, he owned and operated a renowned recording studio in the famous De Lane Lea Studio next to Wembley Stadium (Studio 3), where legendary artists such as Led Zeppelin, Paul McCartney, and Michael Jackson recorded. Chris excelled as an engineer and producer for numerous bands and television projects, solidifying his reputation in the industry. With over 40 years of experience teaching guitar, Chris has inspired countless students. Since 2018, he has brought his expertise to the Little Acorns Theatre Academy, teaching LAMDA and helping the next generation of artists thrive.
